KoKo PFT announces senior appointment

KoKo Ltd, has announced the appointment of Isabel Y. Yang, PhD, as Executive Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer.

Dr Yang joins KoKo with over 25 years of experience in technology innovation. For example, she worked for IBM in New York for over eleven years where she became Vice President of Research Strategy, Operations and Partnerships. In this position, she was responsible for driving leading-edge innovations such as the application of artificial intelligence healthcare, and high-performance computing.

Most recently, she served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at Advanced Energy, where she was responsible for leading the company’s global technology strategy in Industrial IoT solutions.

Dr Yang has a bachelor’s degree in material science, and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in electrical engineering, specialising in semiconductors and solid state physics; all undertaken at MIT. She is also the recipient of numerous business awards and holds multiple patents.
